I am from the first batch of kendriya vidyalaya since its
inception joining KV at IAF Training Command Hebbal Bangalore in
1965 , std VIIth ,then came to nagpur joining KV when it was functuining
from Hadas High School N.A Road ramdaspeth,std VIII subse quently shifted to
a rented place near Nelson Sq. near mental hospital till 1967 apl, and later
shifted to the present prmises at vayusena Nagar in the new session in june
1967 . Friends , I have the Prathibha magzine published in 1968 which
contains many data and photographs , nostalgics.
I was elated to know from prachit saxena regarding this new venture
to form group of KVItes and an happy to be a part of this large family of
KVítes. Was in Biology section so at that time who ever took Bio went on to
be a doctor. Thats what i persued, joining Govt. medical college Ngp. At
present am practing as a consultant physician at Datta wadi Amravati Road
,Nagpur....(M-9823019163)It will be a pleasure to meet oldies from our times
of late 60's. We had XIth passing out at that time in 1970.Mr Rao, Surekha
Purohit, Kamal Bhavnani, Behel, Debratta Dutta, were from my class on 70.As
Prachit informed we some 8 of the men will be meeting the present Principal
Ms Srinivasan. Friends, I would be entering the hallowed premises of
Kendriya Vidyalaya Vayusena Nagar after a gap of 36 years. And am looking
forward to it. If any one of u who were at KV during 1967 to 1970, remember
Jharia, ( me) mail me or call me at my cell.
