This message is in reply to the efforts being made by the moderator
(Prachait) and others to form an alumni association of KVVSN.

I am not sure how matured this group is to talk about money collection and
also registering the the alumni association as a society etc.

I think before we can talk about doing great lot of things for the school,
we must have a good foundation. I am sure a yahoo group cannot be 'the'
foundation.

I think before asking contributions from all over the world for some good
cause, one must prove that this group can do anything better for the school,
than what Government of India has been doing.

The concept of providing better infrastructure to school and providing funds
for loan; guiding students for future etc appears very bright.
But I think before giving a formal shape to this group, there should be some
activities.

Prachait! plan for something for the school which can be done without money
and then see whether people actually turn up for the same.
Take for example career councelling: How about introducing this on a yahoo
group itself. All those in school can beome a member of this group and ask
questions. All those who can answer wouls asnwer them.

My gut feeling is before we can plan of something to be done by money, we
should reach the extreme of what can be done without money.

I have no plans to offend or discourage anyone. Please correct me if there
are already things happening and I have missed them.

Lets make it a discussion if people are interested.
